ALL LINEN PRODUCTS
The beauty of natural linen is that regular washing will only make it softer and even more luxurious. Our linen is extremely durable and made from high-quality natural fibres, however, it’s important to maintain and care for your linen correctly to avoid damage. Please consult our Linen Care guide below to help you make the most out of your linen!
Washing and drying your linen
For regular cleaning, we recommend a warm and gentle hand or machine wash with a mild detergent (no bleach or detergent with optical brighteners). Washing your linen with high temperatures can cause shrinkage and weaken the natural fibres.
We also recommend separating white, light and dark linens prior to machine washing, and washing linens separately from other fabrics. Avoid soaking your linens for more than 10 minutes. If you choose to outsource your linen cleaning to external providers, please ensure they are aware of the appropriate way to care for your linen.
Linen can be tumble-dried on a low heat. Alternatively, we recommend air-drying your linen where possible for a softer, more superior finish. Avoid over-drying linen or drying in direct sunlight as this can cause damage to the fibres making them appear brittle, bleached and feel dented.
Storing your linen
To prevent mildew, make sure your linens are completely dry before storing. Linen is created using natural fibres that need to breathe, and are best kept in cool, dry areas with appropriate ventilation. Avoid storing your linen in direct sunlight, as this can cause discolouration.
Ironing your linen
Natural linens are designed to have a soft, textural finish after washing. Creases and wrinkles are all part of the beauty and magic of pure linen! However, if you do wish to iron or press your linen, we recommend using a medium-hot iron while the material is still damp for best results.
Linen Social is passionate about offering quality products - we want you to love your linen as much as we do!
If you are needing to return one of our items, please ensure you identify which of the below processes is most appropriate and follow it accordingly to ensure that we are able to assist you as best we can.
Change of Mind
We offer exchanges and credit notes on full priced items purchased online within 14 days of receipt of goods. In order to be returned, the item must be in the original packaging – brand new, unused and unwashed. We do not offer refunds nor do we offer exchanges or credit notes on any discounted items.
To begin this process please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your return is accepted, we will then provide you with instructions on where to send your package.
Please be mindful that shipping costs for change of mind are at the expense of the customer.
If your item arrives damaged this needs to be reported via email to email@example.com within 7 days of receipt for a replacement or refund.
Any product that displays a manufacturing fault after use needs to be reported within 3 months of receipt of goods in order to receive a replacement.
Please note that items which have been damaged as a result of incorrect garment care or general wear are not considered as faulty.
If you have placed a custom order, this means that your products have been created specifically to suit your specifications. For this reason, we are sadly unable to offer a refund on any custom orders unless they are deemed faulty, so please choose your linen selections carefully.
